today is Trevor's 16th birthday.
i went to the hospital to visit his dad Jacob.
i prayed a short prayer with Jacob quoting from John 14:1-3

Jacob passed away few hours later - he was 52, same age as my older brother.

yeah!!!

after many months of waiting we finally got the license for our beagle - welcome home Jack Jr.

we celebrated the National Day with games and food at the fellowship hall. it was really fun to watch the NDP on the big screen!

after fighting Leukemia for 7 months, went home to be with her Lord and Savior today.

she was a friend that's closer than sister to me.
i miss her very much.

the kids ended the Youth Month celebrations with an extended time of worship ... everyone walked away refreshed and recharged!

POWERHOUSE+30 hour famine (July 18 - 19)

An overnight fast to remember the children who die of hunger daily - the youth also raised about $1200 for World Vision.

my youngest one turned 14 today! His friends came over in the morning and prepared a surprise breakfast for him. The girls also bake him a cake. the day ended with a BBQ by the beach and the Lord held back the rain, it was amazing - hallelujah!
