the kids ended the Youth Month celebrations with an extended time of worship ... everyone walked away refreshed and recharged!

POWERHOUSE+30 hour famine (July 18 - 19)

An overnight fast to remember the children who die of hunger daily - the youth also raised about $1200 for World Vision.

my youngest one turned 14 today! His friends came over in the morning and prepared a surprise breakfast for him. The girls also bake him a cake. the day ended with a BBQ by the beach and the Lord held back the rain, it was amazing - hallelujah!

things that made me happy today:

received birthday hugs from my boys at 6am - walked the dog this morning - collected grasses for use in pressed floral art - ate nasi lemak for breakfast - baked two loaves of banana bread - had coffee with a friend - received birthday wishes from my girls - my better half cooked dinner tonite, and had nyonya kuehs for dessert, yeah!!!
